CEO Weekly Message

Next week we will be officially opening our CMCA RV Park in Penola, SA. Whilst I acknowledge that the park has been operational for some time, the official opening formality will take place on Wednesday 22 March at 10am. The opening will be jointly officiated by Chairman Kim Templeton and Mayor Cr Des Noll from Wattle Range Council. Any member in the area is welcome to come along.

With 13 CMCA RV Parks around the country, I would like to provide an update on their operations. Both RV parks in the Northern Territory, Humpty Doo and Sundance Farm Batchelor, along with three of four parks in Queensland, Innisfail, Ingham and Charleville, are still closed due to the wet season. Our Northern Territory parks are due to reopen in May, and the Queensland parks are due to reopen from April (subject to custodian availability). All other parks around Australia are open for business including Bundaberg (Qld), Temora (NSW), Gunnedah (NSW), Railton (Tas), Geeveston (Tas), Penola (SA), Port Pirie (SA) & Boyup Brook (WA).

We are working on potential new sites all the time; however, this can be a slow process making sure all the regulatory components to a development are met. If you come across a site that could make for a potential RV Park, please give us a call at NHQ on 02 4978 8788.

Safe travelling

Richard
