Government & Industry
With 60,000 members, we are the largest recreational vehicle (RV) club in the southern hemisphere. Established in 1986, CMCA has a long-standing history built on the foundations of adventure, enjoyment, education and fun!
As the popularity of RV travel continues to grow and more people are taking the opportunity to explore our wonderful country, CMCA is focused on preserving the RV lifestyle by providing an array of services and support to members.
GET INVOLVED
Are you a government or industry body that would like to know more about what we do and how you can join us in preserving and benefiting from RV tourism?
We have developed a number of initiatives you can benefit from! Get involved and be rewarded with the many benefits RV tourism can bring to your town/local government area.
Greenfund has been designed to support environmental sustainability by contributing financially to grassroots environmental and conservation projects, while creating opportunities for member involvement.
The Dump Point Subsidy program has been created by our Club, in partnership with KEA Campers, to develop a network of key infrastructure for recreational vehicles across Australia.
With the rapid growth of the RV industry within Australia, CMCA understands that we have the responsibility to ensure government and Industry Bodies recognise the potential social, economic and environmental benefits of this sector.
CMCA Friendly Caravan Parks are parks that offer our members an exclusive discount of 10% or greater, off their current rates. Members must be able to produce their current membership card to receive discounts offered by CMCA Friendly Caravan Parks.
CMCA have partnered with numerous parks Australia wide to bring our members affordable accommodation options of just $15 or less per night (conditions and self-contained requirements may apply).
The SCV policy and LNT Code of Conduct is a means of demonstrating to Councils and other authorities that self-contained vehicles need not have a negative impact on the environment, even if a campsite has no facilities.
The RV Friendly Town™ program is a Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia Limited initiative aimed at assisting recreational vehicle consumers as they journey throughout our country.
The RV Friendly Destination program is a CMCA initiative aimed to assist small towns that are not able to meet the criteria of the CMCA RV Friendly Town™ program. Local Government/Councils, Progress Associations and businesses, can participate by selecting a suitable site within the town to become the RV Friendly Destination.
